DisputeGrid ("we", "us") operates disputegrid.com, a United States self-help document automation tool for credit disputes. Contact: support@disputegrid.com.
1. Who we are
DisputeGrid is software you use to review a credit report, generate dispute letters, and (optionally) send certified mail. We are not a credit repair organization, law firm, or credit bureau. You remain the sole legal sender and signee of every letter.
2. Data we collect
- Account: email address and authentication credentials via Supabase Auth.
- Credit reports: PDF uploads you choose to import, and structured fields we extract (name, addresses, account summaries, status flags). We do not intentionally store raw PDF text excerpts in the database.
- Dispute workflow: selected items, letter text, mail tracking numbers, delivery timestamps, and outcome notes you enter.
- Billing: subscription and mail-credit purchases processed by Stripe (card details never touch our servers).
- Support: messages you send via chat, the in-app form, or email.
- Product email: procedural reminders (e.g. Day 25 / Day 31) if you leave reminders enabled.
3. How we use data
We use data only to operate the product: parse reports, generate letters, fulfill mail via PostGrid/USPS, run statutory timers, process payments, send optional reminders, and respond to support requests. We do not submit complaints to consumerfinance.gov for you.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share or sell your data to third parties for their own marketing or advertising. We share data only with service providers listed below, solely to run the Service on your behalf.
4. Processors
- Supabase (database and auth)
- Vercel (hosting)
- Stripe (payments)
- PostGrid (print & mail / USPS)
- Loops (transactional / lifecycle email)
- Loops (support notifications)
- Optional AI providers for plain-English flag explanations when configured
5. Retention and delete my data
You may permanently delete your reports, campaigns, letters, and account from Settings → Delete my data (type DELETE to confirm). After deletion we remove stored credit-report and dispute data. Stripe may retain payment records for tax and chargeback purposes. Support emails already received may remain in our inbox.
6. Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Access to production systems is limited. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
7. Children and geography
DisputeGrid is intended for adults (18+) in the United States only.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date above will change. Material changes may also be noted in-product or by email.
