Terms of Use
Last updated: September 19, 2026
These Terms govern your use of disputegrid.com ("DisputeGrid", "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. Contact: support@disputegrid.com.
1. What DisputeGrid is
DisputeGrid is a self-help document automation tool. It helps you review credit report data, select items to dispute, generate plain-text letters, optionally send USPS certified mail through a third-party print-and-mail provider, track a statutory reinvestigation window, and prepare a CFPB complaint draft for you to copy into consumerfinance.gov yourself.
DisputeGrid is not a credit repair organization, credit counseling agency, law firm, or credit bureau. We do not promise that any item will be removed, that your credit score will change, or that any bureau or furnisher will respond in a particular way.
2. You are the sender
You are always the sole legal sender and signee of every letter and complaint. You are responsible for reviewing letter content for accuracy before mailing. Certified mail fulfillment does not change that you are the sender.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and using the Service for personal US consumer use.
4. Accounts and security
Keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. Notify us promptly of unauthorized use.
5. Free software, mail credits, and refunds
- A free account includes import, workspace, letter generation, print-at-home, and tracking. We are not currently selling a monthly software subscription.
- Certified mail uses separately purchased mail credits. Credits are consumed when a mail job is successfully queued.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. Fees are generally non-refundable once services are delivered, except where required by law or at our discretion for clear billing errors. If you had a monthly software subscription, we cancel it so it does not renew; that cancellation does not by itself refund a charge already collected.
6. Your content and accuracy
You represent that you have the right to upload reports you submit and that information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge. Automated parsing can err; you must verify names, accounts, and letter text before mailing.
7. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the Service (abuse mail APIs, attempt unauthorized access, upload malware, scrape at scale, or use the Service for unlawful harassment). We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
8. Third-party services
Mail, payments, hosting, email, and chat are provided by third parties (including PostGrid, USPS, Stripe, Supabase, Vercel, Loops). Their terms and availability apply.
9. No professional advice
Content is informational and procedural, not legal, tax, or financial advice. Consult a licensed professional for advice about your situation.
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR BUREAU/FURNISHER DECISIONS, MAIL DELAYS, OR SCORE CHANGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE THREE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.
11. Termination and delete my data
You may stop using the Service and delete your data under Settings. We may suspend or terminate access for violations or risk to the Service.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use after the updated date constitutes acceptance.
